August 27, 2018
Lark’s Song will be hosting its 5th Annual Day of Aliveness on September 15, 2018 in Downtown Marion. There will be collaborative events and activities in downtown Marion hosted by Lark's Song and other organizations.

This Day of Aliveness is all about fulfillment, flourishing, and well-being in our community. Research shows that people whose lives are marked by holistic well-being are able to meet some of the world’s most complex needs through resourceful and creative problem-solving. All of the events and programs offered through the Day of Aliveness have been co-created by members of the Lark's Song team and our community so there is something for everyone.

We will educate and empower participants to higher levels of flourishing by offering programs and activities aimed at developing positive emotion, relationships, engagement, meaning, and achievement.

This day will start at 8 am with FREE workshops at Lark’s Song; the Grant County Farmer's Market will begin at its usual time, 9 am; and at 10 am, sidewalk sales, arts, crafts, upscale vendors, non-profit groups, street performers, actors, dancers, musicians, and more will be located around or near the Courthouse Square to help make this happen!!

From 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, visitors may take part in ‘Alley Hop’, a Lunch Experience, located in the 3 alleyways in downtown Marion.

The day will end with dancing & music at ‘Dancing in the Streets’, from 7 – 9 pm.

Booth space is being offered for a $10 registration fee to artisans of all genres, non-profit organizations, and other vendors offering services or upscale products. Musicians, Performers, Actors, and Dancers are invited to set up around the square, with a tip jar.
