Grant County Senior Farmers’ Market Vouchers to be distributed

Vouchers for the Grant County Senior Farmers’ Market will be available through LifeStream Services during a special sign-up session on Wednesday, July 18 from 2pm to 4:30pm, or until supplies last, at Cambridge Square, located at 1525 W. Timberview Dr., Marion, IN 46952. Vouchers are provided by the state at limited quantities, so please plan to arrive early. 
 
Grant County residents over the age of 60 can redeem vouchers for fresh produce at the following locations:
  • Grant County Farmers’ Market: 100 E. 3rd St., Marion, IN
    • Saturday 9am to 1pm
  • Little Barn Akers: 200 N. 1000 E., Van Buren, IN
    • Wednesday 4:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Your Favorite Hometown Market: 1500 S. Western Ave., Marion, IN
    • Saturday 9am to 1pm
The vouchers are worth $20 and can be used through October 20. Eligible items include beans, peppers, tomatoes, apples, and other fresh fruits and vegetables.
 
To be eligible to receive vouchers (Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program checks), the recipient must be at least 60 years of age or older, or a qualified person with disabilities. A picture ID with date of birth will be required to verify age.
