September 04, 2018
The Marion High School Drama Association will present its first show of of the 2018-19 season, the annual 1 Night / 1 Dollar / 1 Act show, during Homecoming Weekend.
This annual tradition part of Giants Homecoming Week, and we hope to see many friends, family, and alumni in attendance!  The play presented will be Dark Road by Laura Lundgren Smith. The show will start at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16. Tickets are only $1!
This powerful drama gives insight into the process by which evil becomes ordinary. When Greta, a young girl living in Nazi Germany, reads that the nearby women's concentration camp is hiring guards, she sees it as a chance to find her place in the world and provide for her sister Lise.  But soon she learns the reality of her duties, and so too does she learn how to justify her crimes, heading further and further down the dark road laid by the Third Reich.
Don't miss this chance to explore important and timeless topics with our talented students. We hope to see you there!
