DESCRIPTION:Light the Way 5K (view pdf)\n\n\n\nMarion\, Indiana: First Light Child Advocacy Center is hosting a 5K Run/2 Mi Walk at Matter Park. The event will support the child abuse intervention and prevention work of First Light and honor those who serve children in our community.\n\n\n\nFirst Light Child Advocacy is hosting a 5K Run/2 Mi Walk in Matter Park on April 16th. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. Awards to be given to the fastest runners in each category and fastest walker. Additional awards will be given to the fastest representatives from Department of Child Services\, law enforcement\, legal\, and fire departments.\n\n\n\nRegistration costs $20 per participant (t-shirt included). Teams of 5 or more receive a $5 per participant discount. Participants must sign up by April 4th to guarantee a t-shirt\, but registration will be accepted until 8:30 a.m. on race day.
