The Honeywell House welcomes Elizabeth Myers Macinata to present "An American in China During World War II\," on Tues.\, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. Ms. Macinata will share her father's experiences in China while working for the Service Motor Truck Company. \n\n \n\nIn 1929\, Daniel Myers was hired by the Chinese government to construct an inexpensive truck for them. He spent the next 15 years in China\, which spanned through the time period of WWII\, working on this project. A large collection of his letters and diaries telling about life in China will also be on display. \n\n \n\nThis event is free and open to the public.
