SUMMARY:Indiana Wesleyan University holds 20th annual Spotted Cow Festival
DESCRIPTION:Indiana Wesleyan University is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Spotted Cow Festival\, an annual outdoor music festival\, on Saturday\, April 14. The festival will take place outside on the Chapel Plaza and feature live music from various bands\, food trucks\, activities\, puppy playtime and vendors. \n\n \n\nMusic will include a variety of styles from indie-rock to country. This year's band lineup includes the following:\n\n	The Band CAMINO (Memphis\, TN)\n	Oferle (Fort Wayne\, IN)\n	Calder (Fort Wayne\, IN)\n	NOMAD (IWU Students)\n	Stained Glass City (IWU Students)\n\n \n\n"Time and time again\, students express that Spotted Cow is their favorite event of the year\," said Jordan Gorveatte\, marketing director for Student Activities Council. "I believe this is because it's so unique and really speaks to the demographic of the IWU community: our students love music\, being outside and hanging out together. Being able to combine all those things into an awesome daylong experience is\, I believe\, the reason IWU students keep coming back\, even 20 years later." \n\n \n\nSpotted Cow was started in 1998 by former students Dave Mason and Tom Adamson for the purpose of showcasing the bands on campus and in the Marion area. The name "Spotted Cow" came from a desire to simply find a name that was goofy and fun.\n\n \n\n"It's pretty cool to have anything you create stick around for two decades\, let alone a music festival at your alma matter\," said Mason. "To know that something we started all those years ago fills me with a great sense of pride. I am who I am today\, in large part\, because of the contributions of the faculty\, staff and students of IWU."
