After months of construction\, the new branch is scheduled to open in stages throughout the month of July\; a soft opening for drive-thru transactions only will begin on July 27 and an official ribbon-cutting scheduled for Friday\, July 31. The office will fully open to the public immediately after the ribbon-cutting.\n\n\n\n"We believe that Afena is uniquely positioned to serve the banking needs of the Upland community\," said President/CEO Karen Madry. "We are thrilled to be able to open this beautiful new branch in Upland and provide the community with a full-service local financial institution to serve all of their banking needs\, whatever they may be."\n\n\n\nShe continued\, "We could not be more excited to be able to move forward with the branch opening\, and we look forward to an opening that will ensure the safety and security of all staff\, members and the community-at-large."\n\n\n\nImmediately following the ribbon-cutting on Friday\, July 31 from 3 to 7 P.M. the Credit Union will be holding an outdoor grand opening and community block party event featuring food\, prizes\, and music.
