Indiana Wesleyan University’s Marion campus will be hosting a Transition to Nursing Informational Meeting on Friday, June 19 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The coordinator of the IWU Transition to Nursing program, Veronica Peters, will present a detailed overview of the accelerated second-degree nursing program. There will also be an opportunity to tour the campus and state-of-the-art nursing facilities.
The Transition to Nursing program is designed for those who want to become a nurse and currently hold a bachelor’s degree in another field from an accredited institution. The accelerated 63-credit-hour program offers students the opportunity to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing in just 14 months. For greater flexibility, IWU offers two different start dates during the year—one in January and the other in June.
The informational meeting is open to the public. Please RSVP by June 12 to Rita Duchane at rita.duchane@indwes.edu.
