'Oklahoma!' takes the stage at Marion High School
MARION — The Marion High School Speech and Drama Association is bringing a classic Broadway musical to local audiences this weekend.
The student group is putting on "Oklahoma!", the well-loved Rodgers and Hammerstein tale of a high-spirited rivalry between western farmers and cowboys, a backdrop to a classic love story. It features such well-known songs as "Oh What a Beautiful Mornin'", "People Will Say We're In Love", and "Oklahoma".
This fun family show suitable for all ages gives many of MHS's talented students a chance to shine.
This MHS presentation is produced by special arrangement with the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.
