Music of 3 B’s (Bach, Beethoven, and Borodin) and John Williams will be performed. Dr. Chris Bade leads the TU Symphony Orchestra.
Do you like mysteries? Then you’ll enjoy this intriguing feature of the concert: One of music history’s ongoing mysteries (the 2nd movement of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #3) will have a TU solution at this May 4th event. Then Beethoven’s effervescent Symphony #4 will be followed by the somber, moving “Theme from Schindler’s List” by John Williams. The performance concludes with Borodin’s colorful and challenging “Polovetsian Dances” from his opera Prince Igor.
