GCYPN Relaunches to Connect the Next Generation of Grant County Leaders

After years of helping young professionals build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and create lifelong friendships, the Grant County Young Professionals Network (GCYPN) is entering an exciting new chapter.

The Greater Grant County Chamber, alongside a dedicated volunteer leadership team representing organizations across the county, is relaunching GCYPN with a renewed vision to connect emerging professionals, strengthen community engagement, and showcase everything Grant County has to offer.

For many former members, GCYPN was more than a networking group. It was where they found mentors, discovered career opportunities, volunteered together, and built friendships that have lasted for years. The relaunch honors that legacy while creating new opportunities for the next generation of professionals to experience the same sense of connection and belonging.

"Strong communities are built through strong relationships," said Kylie Jackson, President & CEO of the Greater Grant County Chamber. "GCYPN has a rich history of bringing people together, and we're excited to invest in the next generation of leaders who will help shape the future of Grant County."

The revitalized network will feature a consistent rhythm of monthly events centered around four themes:

  • Social networking
  • Professional development and education
  • Learning new skills
  • Community service

The goal is to create welcoming opportunities where young professionals can meet peers from a variety of industries, expand their personal and professional networks, discover local businesses and organizations, and become more engaged in the community they call home.

GCYPN is open to professionals from all industries and backgrounds. There are no membership dues, no Chamber membership requirement, and no strict age limit—just a desire to connect, grow, and get involved.

The leadership team hopes the relaunch will:

  • Foster meaningful personal and professional relationships.
  • Introduce participants to local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders.
  • Encourage volunteerism and civic engagement.
  • Develop future business and community leaders.
  • Highlight the many opportunities available throughout Grant County.
  • Help young professionals feel connected and invested in the place they live and work.

The first event of the relaunch will be a casual social gathering:
