City of Marion Awards $75,000 to Strengthen Opioid Recovery & Community Support

The City of Mar­i­on has award­ed $75,000 in Opi­oid Set­tle­ment Access Grants to five local orga­ni­za­tions address­ing sub­stance use, recov­ery, behav­ioral health, pre­ven­tion, and com­mu­ni­ty sup­port. The fund­ing will help expand access to crit­i­cal ser­vices, reduce bar­ri­ers to care, and pro­vide resources for indi­vid­u­als and fam­i­lies impact­ed by the opi­oid cri­sis through­out Mar­i­on and Grant County.
