Announces Tailgate Food Distributions 

November 24 - November 30

MUNCIE, INSecond Harvest Food Bank announces the following Tailgate Food Distribution events.

Grant County

Tuesday, November 25 - 10 AM

Five Points Mall, 1129 N Baldwin Ave, Marion

 

EXTRA Distribution in Wabash County

Wednesday, November 26 – 10 AM

Manchester Church of the Brethren, 1306 Beckley St, North Manchester

 

EXTRA Distribution in Randolph County

Wednesday, November 26 - 10 AM

Goodrich Park, 700 N Union St, Winchester

 

EXTRA Distribution in Henry County

Wednesday, November 26 - 10 AM

First Baptist Church, 709 S Memorial Dr, New Castle

 

Wabash County

Wednesday, November 26 - 11 AM

Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, 2147 IN-15, Wabash



We are closed Thursday and Friday, November 27-28, for the holiday. There will be no tailgates during this time. 

Tailgates are only possible thanks to our volunteers. If you'd like to help feed your community, visit curehunger.org/volunteer!

Distributions are while supplies last. All are welcome, regardless of home county or reason for need. IDs or proof of address/income are NOT required. Please arrive no earlier than two hours before the scheduled start time. Walk-ups should aim to arrive an hour after the scheduled start time.

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana collaborates with over 200 partners in Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph, and Wabash Counties. The mission of the organization is to provide help for today by feeding the hungry and hope for tomorrow by addressing the causes of food insecurity while empowering people toward self-sufficiency; with a goal to feed East Central Indiana's most vulnerable residents through a region-wide network of member agencies and programs and to engage our region in the fight to end hunger. Each year, the Second Harvest Food Bank network provides assistance to more than 87,000 neighbors facing food or resource insecurity, including more than 15,000 children.
